Where are you located, and what is your favorite thing about it?
Burns, Oregon – a small town in Central Oregon’s high desert. It’s a small, remote town, and because of that, the community is very close. In fact, this region is considered to be “Frontier” because it’s so sparsely populated.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Anything outside! I love all seasons, so in the winter I’m snowboarding, in spring I’m hiking and gardening, in summer I’m floating and fishing, and in fall I’m getting up to the higher mountain lakes since the snow finally melted and mosquitoes are gone!
Have any bucket list items?
I’m a little too spontaneous to have an actual bucket list because it really depends on my mood, the vibes, and what project I’m working on next.
What’s your passion project?
Not to sound too cliche, but my passion project is really just taking care of myself and my family and making sure that we experience as many adventures and good times as possible in this tiny blip of time we have.
Why did you pick Mad Fish Digital?
I want to be proud of where I work and what I do and Mad Fish Digital stood out as a company that I could be extremely proud to say that I work here.
What is your favorite genre of music to listen to while you work?
I listen to Binaura and Low-Fi beats while I work to keep focused and not get too distracted when my favorite bop comes on.
Share a fun fact about yourself!
My husband and I sold nearly everything we owned and did “van life” for 2 years. We recently bought a house so we could have a home base, but we can’t wait to get back out there and travel the PNW!
If you have a pet, tell us about them.
Our sweet golden retriever, Charlie, just recently passed away, but we had 12 incredible years with her. She was the zoomiest, fluffiest, sweetest girl, and we miss her every day, but we’re looking forward to getting another dog in the near future.
What do you add to the team outside of work?
I bring a sense of joy and levity to most situations. I really enjoy a positive, team-focused work environment and contribute to that as often as I can.
