The Challenge

Schoolhouse is a nationwide brand that manufactures and sells premium home decor. Schoolhouse partnered with Mad Fish Digital to implement a comprehensive paid media strategy for their ecommerce website. While their exceptional reputation speaks for itself, their social credibility and brand awareness on its own was not providing the online results they wanted. Mad Fish developed and optimized brand awareness, transactional and remarketing campaigns that continue delivering double-digit increases in annual revenue from digital channels.

Our Approach

We set out with clear goals, and got to know Schoolhouse inside and out. From auditing their existing social channels and search, to reading more about their products, and learning about their customers, we set the stage for a successful digital advertising strategy. We knew it wouldn’t be easy, but we set audacious goals that would please Schoolhouse and our paid media team. That included increasing new customer revenue through comprehensive social advertising campaigns, optimizing AdWords campaigns for improved Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and increasing overall revenue by 50% over six months.

We did this through developing comprehensive paid social campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest using insights from their digital platforms. We then set out to optimize the clients shopping campaigns for better performance. Finally, we wanted to reduce cart abandonment through better remarketing to help close the sales funnel.
