Where are you located, and what is your favorite thing about it?
Portland, OR. What I love about Portland is its proximity to solitude in nature. I love the feeling of being in a forest 1 hour from my home and feeling like there’s no one but me there at that moment.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Reading, competitive anything, gardening, or exploring the outdoors.
Have any bucket list items?
Honestly, there’s not a ton on the list right now. My lofty goal is to move to a different country and grow passionfruit NOT in a greenhouse and have avocado trees. Also owning my own pool and sauna. So jk— I guess there are a few things on that list.
What’s your passion project?
Growing unique plants. I’m really into edible plants (even though I wouldn’t consider myself a serious cook) and enjoy the ecosystem I’ve established and helped flourish.
Why did you pick Mad Fish Digital?
I’m eager to help shape the next generation of people-first work practices and to define what that looks like in practice. Mad Fish’s willingness to embrace this evolution—and its interest in helping set the standard for the industry—aligns strongly with my own convictions and long-term career goals. Simply put, I was looking for a team that shared my vision of building a progressive, people-first support system and that was willing to be at the forefront of defining what’s next.
What is your favorite genre of music to listen to while you work?
Jazz, punk rock, or dream pop.
Share a fun fact about yourself!
I enjoy foraging for edibles (mushrooms, fiddleheads, fishing, etc) and teach related classes in my free time.
If you have a pet, tell us about them.
I have three cats: Soba, Moonake, and Nori. They are total weirdos and perfect—I’m obsessed.
What do you add to the team outside of work?
A dedication to giving back to our community through environmental-related volunteering.
